Kind of a generic answer I know. If I went turf-like I would probably use the foam based turf that I used on my Black Templars and other figs before I changed my style. In this tutorial I refer to it as sponge turf and my Warpwolf is standing in the middle of it. I would also dry brush oe lightly paint some hash marks if I could so it looked like a football field (I think that would be cool). All of your static grass is to long for turf.
